Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our short term rental cleaning service app that connects property hosts with Kwicksters.
General FAQs
The KwickTurn app works by connecting hosts with cleaners (or how we call them, Kwicksters, our network of short term rental property cleaners) in your area. Hosts can create a profile with information about their short-term rental property, including the size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, reservations calendar, photos, and any special cleaning requirements. Kwicksters can create a Kwickster profile with information about their experience, services, rates, and availability.
When a host needs a cleaning, they can search for Kwicksters in their area. They can view Kwicksters' profiles and read reviews from other hosts. Once they have found a Kwickster they are interested in, they can either select an instant KwikTurn Deal or can request a Be-Spoke Deal from the Kwickster. Once the Deals have been accepted, hosts can add Kwicksters to their property teams and assign primary and backup Kwicksters. Once added to a team, the Kwicksters will be able to see the host's contact information and the details of the property. Then once cleaning projects are scheduled, the primary Kwickster can accept or decline the project. If they decline a project, the secondary Kwicksters will have the opportunity to accept the project.
Once the cleaning is complete, the Kwickster will be able to upload photos to document the project completion, and the host will be able to leave feedback for the Kwickster.
A KwickTurn Deal records the standing cleaning engagement between hosts and cleaners that is specific to each property and has a unique scope and cost. We believe that transparency and forthright information helps build trust between parties which fosters strong and enduring working relationships.Types of Deals include KwickTurn Deals which are for the standard short term rental turnover cleaning service, or Be-Spoke Deals which are for customized services. To make things easier, KwickTurn prices are displayed on Kwickster profiles in search results, and once selected and accepted, become the KwickTurn Deal for that property. Each property can have one (1) KwickTurn Deal and multiples Be-Spoke Deals. Deals can be modified after acceptance by submitting an alteration request.
The KwickTurn price deal is ideal for your typical Airbnb cleaning turnovers focusing on making your place fresh and guest-ready. This includes standard cleaning of all rooms with focused sanitization in kitchens and bathrooms, dusted surfaces, vacuumed and mopped floors, fresh linens and made beds, appliance checks, and any additional services requested on the host's property page. It doesn’t include deep cleaning or extras. Hosts can instantly engage into KwickTurn Deals with Kwicksters by selecting the KwickTurn Deal option on the Kwickster’s profile with the precalculated price for your property. Once selected, this Deal gets recorded on the My Deals tab and will be used for all future KwickTurn turnover projects.
The KwickTurn Be-Spoke Deal is for all custom cleaning projects not typically included with usual turnover cleaning service. These can include periodic deep cleanings with extra services to take care of things such as floor scrubbing, baseboard cleaning, and window cleanings for example. Hosts can request Be-Spoke quotes from Kwicksters by selecting this option on the Kwickster profile, and then sharing the property with the Kwickster and describing the custom cleaning needs. Then the Kwickster will provide a Be-Spoke quote for this project and the host will have the opportunity to accept or decline the quote. Once accepted, this Be-Spoke Deal is recorded on the My Deals tab and can be used on future projects when similar scope of service is needed.
By using the KwickTurn app, when a host needs a cleaning, they can search for cleaners (or how we call them, Kwicksters) in their area. They can view cleaners' profiles and read reviews from other hosts. Once they have found a Kwickster they are interested in, they can either select an instant KwickTurn Deal or can request a Be-Spoke Deal from the Kwickster. Once the Deals have been accepted, hosts can add Kwicksters to their property teams and assign primary and backup Kwicksters. Once added to a team, the Kwicksters will be able to see the host's contact information and the details of the property.
In the KwickTurn app, once cleaning projects are scheduled, the primary cleaner can accept or decline the project. If they decline a project, the secondary Kwicksters will have the opportunity to accept the project.
Once the cleaning is complete, the Kwickster will be able to upload photos to document the project completion, and the host will be able to leave feedback for the Kwickster.
In the KwickTurn app communication is encouraged and facilitated through the Chat feature.
The KwickTurn app is completely free for hosts. It only charges a 5% platform fee on each cleaning project for Kwicksters and is subtracted from the Kwickster's payout after the cleaning project is completed. For example, if a cleaning project costs $100, the host would pay $100 and the Kwickster would receive $95. The platform fee helps to cover the costs of operating the app, such as providing customer support, marketing, and developing new features.
We get it. Life happens sometimes and things come up beyond our control. With this in mind, and as long as a project has not started, users may cancel a booking with a full refund in case of emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances beyond their control. Users must notify the other party as soon as possible and provide adequate documentation for the reason for cancellation. Hosts who frequently cancel bookings may face difficulties keeping Kwicksters engaged and invested in their property teams, which may impact their ability to retain Kwicksters. Kwicksters who frequently cancel bookings may face negative feedback from hosts, which can impact their bookings. Additionally, in some cases, KwickTurn may impose penalties on Hosts and Kwicksters who cancel excessively.
Only Hosts can cancel a cleaning project in its entirety. Kwicksters cannot cancel cleaning projects, however can decline after accepting, which cancels their own booking.
If a Kwickster arrives at the property and is unable to complete the cleaning due to reasons attributed to the Host (e.g., incorrect property information, missing access codes), the Kwickster might charge the Host a partial fee based on the time spent by the Kwickster. The Kwickster can report the issue in the KwickTurn app by opening a dispute within 3 days of project completion.
Considering leaving our KwickTurn platform? We're sorry to hear that! If you'd like to permanently delete your account, you can easily do so through the KwickTurn website. Simply go to Request Account Removal and fill out the missing fields and submit the removal request. Keep in mind that deleting your account is permanent. This means all your data, including connections with Kwicksters and past projects, will be removed from our system. If you have any questions or require assistance with the deletion process, please feel free to reach out to our helpful support team.
General FAQs
Alterations, Disputes & Refunds
Project alteration requests allow Hosts and Kwicksters to request changes to specific details of a cleaning project after it's been created but before the Kwickster marks it as completed.
Both Hosts and Kwicksters can submit project alteration requests. Hosts can request changes to date and time, price, and Kwickster Deal. Kwicksters can request changes to date and time.
1. Open the cleaning project within the KwickTurn app.
2. Click on the "Alteration" button
3. Select the type of change you want to request.
4. Submit your request.
The other party will receive a notification and can either accept or decline the request. Both parties have the right to decline a request if it doesn't meet their needs or expectations.
Not necessarily. Alterations might not be possible once a project has reached certain stages (e.g., if cleaning has already been completed). Additionally, alterations might not need acceptance if they are submitted before the Kwickster has accepted the project (eg. a host can change the date and time of the project in this case and the project details get updated with the new schedule). Certain changes like price changes might always require acceptance by the other party.
Yes, in this case the host would submit a Kwickster Deal change request, and then select a Deal with the scope needed. If you don’t already have an existing Deal with the scope needed, initiate a new one by requesting a Be-Spoke quote from your Kwickster through the chat feature.
If an agreement isn't reached, the project will continue as originally scheduled. However, please note that if a Kwickster rejects a Host’s request, they automatically get de-assigned from the project, and the project is opened to backup Kwicksters.
As early as possible to allow enough time for communication and potential adjustments.
Hosts and Kwicksters can submit disputes within 3 days of a cleaning project's completion through the KwickTurn app.
Hosts can submit disputes for Cleaning Quality Issues: If the cleaning doesn't meet your expectations; Damage: If a Kwickster causes property damage during the cleaning project; No Shows: If the Kwickster doesn't arrive for the scheduled cleaning.
Kwicksters can submit disputes for Unforeseen Added Expenses: If additional cleaning supplies are needed and/or additional cleaning tasks arise beyond the agreed scope that were not already reconciled in an approved alteration.
Please provide clear and relevant evidence to support your claim, such as:
- Photos: Showing the cleaning quality, damage, or missed areas.
- Messages: Any relevant communication with the other party.
- Receipts: If claiming additional expenses.
Both parties can communicate back and forth within the app, presenting their sides with evidence. You have 2 attempts to reach a mutual agreement.
If no agreement is reached, the dispute escalates to KwickTurn support. We will review all claims and evidence before making a final determination.
Dispute resolution typically takes around 30 days if both parties fail to reach a mutual agreement, and KwickTurn support needs to investigate and make a final determination.
Both parties are notified of the final decision, which is binding.
In rare cases, you may request a review if you have new evidence not previously presented by contacting support at [email protected].
After completing the dispute process, if the host is to be refunded, refunds are then issued from the Kwickster to the host, excluding service fees. Service fees contribute to maintaining the platform and covering operational costs. Refunds can be full, or partial depending on the nature of the dispute.
When a host issues payment to a Kwickster, the full amount is transferred to the Kwickster’s Stripe account, then Stripe subtracts KwickTurn platform fee from the full amount. In the case of a full refund from a Kwickster to a host, the Kwickster refunds the original full transaction amount. If there are insufficient funds, Stripe places the refund in pending status until the account deficit is reconciled by either an auto debit from the bank account (only if the Kwickster is enrolled in auto debit with Stripe), or a manual transfer from the Kwickster bank account initiated by the Kwickster. Otherwise, the host may choose to initiate the chargeback process with their card issuer, which may result in additional fees levied against the Kwickster if the dispute is upheld.
Initiate a dispute in the KwickTurn app, providing details about the issue, and select “refund” as the desired outcome. Once the dispute is upheld in the host’s favor, the refund will be processed.

To ensure accurate syncing of your booking information, you'll need to obtain iCal links from both platforms. Here's how:
For Airbnb:
Visit the Airbnb Help Center article on calendar syncing: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/99
Click or scroll down to the section titled To Export a Calendar
Follow the detailed instructions to generate your unique iCal link.
Additional tips:
Double-check the URLs before importing them to ensure accuracy.
If you manage multiple listings, repeat the process for each one.
Allow a few minutes for the initial iCal sync to complete. After the initial sync, your KwickTurn calendar will update every four hours, adding and removing projects automatically based on updates to your rental property’s calendar.
For enhanced calendar management features, consider third-party tools designed for multi-platform syncing.

Reviews are crucial for Kwicksters and our host community. They help ensure quality for hosts and offer valuable insights for future customers. Reviews also benefit Kwicksters, providing feedback to improve their services. Honest feedback is key to this process. By taking the time to write a thoughtful review, hosts can empower Kwicksters to grow their business and provide an even better experience for future clients.
Once your Kwickster marks the project as completed, you will have the opportunity to review the project photos and leave a rating and provide feedback using the review pop up on the home tab. If you need to review the project in more detail, you can skip the pop up and navigate to the project in the app and tap the Review button to leave your feedback. You will have 15 days after a project is completed to leave your review.

You can set your cleaning rates for our KwickTurn instant book pricing in your Kwickster Settings in the KwickTurn app. Once you select that you accept KwickTurn Deals, you can then use our KwickTurn price tool to configure your KwickTurn price. You first set your base price which is your minimum price that you would charge for a cleaning project regardless of the property details, and then set your unit rates for different property features and add-on services and then use our KwickTurn pricing simulator which allows you to test different pricing models and see their impact on your earnings, empowering you to maximize your earnings
The KwickTurn pricing tool was intentionally crafted and specifically designed with short term rental turnovers in mind as it takes into account the statistically common standard cleaning services required to turnover properties for guests. However, we understand that every project is not the same and it is impossible to anticipate and predict every scenario. So if there is a gap, we welcome your feedback so we can add these services in the future. And you have the option to only accept Be-Spoke Deals where hosts will have to request your pricing estimate.
The KwickTurn app is designed to make managing your cleaning projects even easier. Once you have a Deal with a host and they add you to their property team and assign projects to you, all of the upcoming projects for all properties are conveniently located on the home screen for fast access. To further view all projects including upcoming, ongoing, completed, and canceled projects, tap on the Manage tab, then tap on the Projects page, and then tap See all projects. It is important for Kwicksters to accept projects assigned to them as much as possible to avoid projects being reassigned to backup Kwicksters. You can always check the Pending projects to make sure you have accepted all projects.
You can only submit Deal alteration requests on Be-Spoke Deals and update the price and scope. To do so, go the My Deals tab and locate the Deal you would like to alter and tap the Alteration button. Once submitted, the host can accept or decline the alteration. If accepted, the Deal is updated to reflect the changes.
